Board Member
Mr. Jabor Al-Mesalam is the Manager of Portfolio Assessment & Economic Evaluation at Qatar Energy. He has been a dedicated member of Qatar Energy since 2005. Mr. Al-Mesalam earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Manchester. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in the industry.
CEO and Board Member
Ahmed Rafee Al-Emadi is the Chief Executive Officer of Al Koot Insurance and Reinsurance and a member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Al Emadi joined QP Finance Department in 1985 and is a QP Secondee. Before his position in Al Koot he held different positions in QP Finance including Manager of Management Accounting. He has over 30 years of experience.
Vice Chairman of the Board
Mr. Shaheen Al-Ghanim is the Chief Financial Officer of QatarEnergy LNG. Shaheen is a qualified accountant (CMA) with 17 years of experience in QatarEnergy LNG leading various financial accounting, reporting, treasury, cost stewardship and stakeholder management roles across the Finance & Planning Group. He holds a BBA in Finance from St. Edward’s University Austin, Texas and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.
Chairman of the Board
Mr. Al Abdulla is currently the Managing Director and CEO of Qatar Steel Company. After graduating from University of Denver, Colorado, USA, Mr. Al Abdulla entered the Oil & Gas Sector with Qatar Petroleum in Qatar more than 28 years ago. Mr. Al-Abdulla is Board Member of Qatar Academy (Al-Wakra) as a social responsibility.
