The Qatar National Vision 2030 stands on four pillars: human development; social development; economic development and environmental development.
The level of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), being internationally recognized, is supported by an arising awareness and engagement within the State of Qatar. This is reflected in a growing number of initiatives and partnerships to address various environmental and social issues. Collaboration and knowledge exchange among corporations, civil society organizations, academia, and government is increasing.
At Al Koot, our Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives will work towards the Good, Green & Hygienic Goals and will help us carve out a reputation for being one of the most socially and environmentally responsible companies in Qatar.
We believe that the long-term future of Al Koot is best served by valuing the interests of all our stakeholders: shareholders, customers and the wider community. We look actively for opportunities to improve the environment and to actively contribute to the wellbeing of the communities in which we operate. Our CSR policy sets out the principles we follow and the programmes we have developed to focus on the areas where we have significant impact or influence.
One of Al Koot primary objective is to reach out to underserved communities. This entails transcending business interests and grappling with the "quality of life" challenges that underserved communities face and working towards achieving a meaningful difference for them.
